SFRRI 2027

Symposium Proposal

Dear colleagues,

The next SFRR-International (SFRRI) biennial meeting organized in collaboration with and hosted by SFRR Japan (Asia) and will be held in Sendai, Japan from 28-31 March 2027. We are pleased to solicit Symposium proposals that align with the meeting theme, “Expanding horizons with new concepts and technologies”.

Please submit your Symposium proposal using the template below. The Symposium proposals will be submitted from "Go to Symposium proposal page" button on this page before the deadline of 1 June 2026.

Symposium proposals should be submitted as a single PDF file using the template available on the SFRRI 2027 website.

Each proposal must include:

  • A summary (maximum 300 words) highlighting the novelty of the symposium, its relevance and potential interest to SFRRI members, and possible sources of sponsorship.
  • The names, full affiliations, and URLs of 2 Chairs, as well as 2 established scientist speakers and 1 early-career scientist speaker, plus 2 reserve speakers (with their affiliations and contact details). Chairs may also serve as speakers.
  • Provisional lecture titles, abbreviated CVs for all speakers (maximum 300 words each), and up to five selected publications per speaker.

An International Scientific Committee will evaluate all Symposium proposals.

Followig the acceptance of your symposium, SFRRI Scientific Program Committee will select 2 short talks from regular presentation applicants whose research aligns with the topic of your symposium.


Three nights of accommodation, social events, and registration fees for invited speakers and chairs will be supported by SFRR Japan (Asia), the hosts for this biennial meeting.

Read and follow the instruction on the screens, and fill in the required fields. The items you are required to fill in are as follows:
